Props to Sebastian
Just wanted to say, yes my freshly 7 year old son, Sebastian, took the photo at the top. He loved the murals at Kope Cafe in Gulu. That is where he had playtime with his best bud from the age of crawling, his first sip of Coca-Cola (wards off jet lag, you know), first viewing of Invisible Children, first sight of a soldier with a loaded AK-47. Gulu was a time of many firsts for both of us, it was a grand adventure with my oldest. Thanks for a great photo, Bash! Love, your mama

really sad the closer that mid-december gets that I'll not be in gulu this christmas with chas and you and isabel. i really thought it may happen. there are always holidays in the future, but selfishly...i wanted it to be '08.
selfishly, i´m in the same camp as you. i was so looking foward to yearly visits in gulu with you and our little people. the time will come for tas philas, sooner than later i hope! although isabel is excited because she doesn´t have to have shots, there is always a bright spot.
